Judson Degollado Eustaquio was born on May 18, 1988 in Mandaluyong City, Philippines to Amado and Jacqueline Eustaquio. Jude's grandfather, Amado Eustaquio, Sr. introduced Jude to the game of golf. At the young age of six, Jude was inspired to hit a target basket with golf balls in exchange for money from his beloved Grandpa. Just three years later, he was second runner up in the Asia Pacific Junior Golf Championship at Cavite, Philippines. One year later, he placed first at Springfield Royal, Thailand.
Jude went on to achieve nine top 10 finishes between 1998 and 2002 in Asia and placed third at the Optimist International Junior Golf Championship at PGA National in 2001. Seeing the remarkable achievements of their eldest son, Jacqueline and Amado offered Jude the opportunity to study and play golf in the United States. In 2002, he left his parents and three younger brothers (Junjie, Jorge and Justin) to live with family in Palm Beach County, Florida. Jude was only fourteen when he boarded a plane to a new country, a new life and a world of opportunities.

Jude was introduced to PGA Teaching Professional, Brian Symonds at the Club at Winston Trails. Since 2002, Brian has generously donated his time and commitment to Jude's game, giving him unlimited access to the course and practice facilities and providing advice and guidance to this gifted young golfer.
Jude enrolled in Cardinal Newman High School in August 2002. Eager to be a key player on the CN Golf Team, Jude was devastated when immigration issues forced him to sit out the first season. He rallied the team, however, and played in the 2003-2004 school year. That year, CN was undefeated in their conference, placed first in District, second in Regional and 5th in the Florida State High School Championship.
Jude continued to practice and play at the Club at Winston Trails, often joining older golfers for a round on Saturday mornings. In March 2004, Jude told two-time former Winston Trails Champion and reigning Senior Champion, Roger Culbertson, that he was returning to the Philippines because he needed new guardians and had no options. Roger, inspired by the talent and enthusiasm of this 16-year-old, convinced his wife, Linda, that they should become parents. In May 2004, Jude went to live with the Culbertsons on the 18th green at Winston Trails, where Jude practiced every day. Jude learned the game of golf at the age of six from Grandpa Amado. Here they are during Grandpa's visit to the U.S. in 2007. Sadly, Grandpa passed away in May 2008.

Jude signed with the University of Florida on a partial golf scholarship in November 2005 and started classes in August 2006. He was red-shirted his Freshman year. Seeking more opportunities to compete, Jude accepted a full scholarship from Florida Southern College Coach Doug Gordin. Joining his friend and high school teammate Danny Evelyn on the FSC golf team, Jude became a "Moc" in August 2007.
