Judson Degollado Eustaquio was born in 1988 in Mandaluyong City, Philippines. Seeing the remarkable achievements of their eldest son, Jude's parents offered him the opportunity to study and play golf in the United States. In 2002, at the age of 14, he left his parents and three younger brothers to live with family in Palm Beach County, Florida.

Jude enrolled in Cardinal Newman High School in August 2002. The 2004-2005 school year brought acclaim to the Cardinal Newman as they took first in the Regional Championship, with Jude shooting the medalist round of 69, and placed second in the state championship. The 2005-2006 Team was undefeated in its Conference and first in District with Jude shooting a 69 Medalist Round. They tied for second in the Regional Competition.

Jude signed with the University of Florida on a partial golf scholarship in November 2005 and started classes in August 2006. He was red-shirted his Freshman year. Seeking more opportunities to compete, Jude accepted a full scholarship from Florida Southern College and became a "Moc" in August 2007.
